May 11, 2012 Afternoon Workout

Got a call from the Dr.’s office indicating that my knee x-rays showed signs of arthritis. I still think there’s more damage (ie. a tear) but I’ll have to wait for more tests. In the mean time, my ability to train for long runs has suffered.

Shifting to strength training, I did the following BBB workout today:

WEIGHTS:

  • Overhead Press – 5 @ 115lbs / 5 @ 135lbs / 5 @ 160lbs
  • Squats (50% of max) – 5 x 10 @ 135lbs + chains
  • Chinups – 5 x 10
  • Assistance work – DB shoulder exercises
